Tributes Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

Over a fortnight following the shocking loss of esteemed film director Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones are still paying respects to the couple.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Sharing on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, explained he finally felt prepared to share openly about his profound loss.

"Enough time has elapsed that I can now articulate my loss into words," wrote Elwes, adding that his introductory moment with Reiner made him fall in love. "Once we started sharing more moments together I understood this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor posted never-before-seen clips from the movie, commenting that he cannot recall "any day without mirth".

"This story is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Values that Rob held dear. This is one of the many reasons he was the best person to guide it," Elwes continued.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, noting: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an oversimplification. My heart still aches every time I recall you." He finished with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Fellow Artist

In a different tribute, revered director Martin Scorsese also honored Reiner, whom he initially encountered in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the main character.

"His improvisation skills with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked seamlessly with his co-stars, and he comprehended the human predicament of his character," Scorsese noted.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Sealed

Recently, a Los Angeles judge ruled to block the publication of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, following a petition from the Los Angeles Police Department.

A court order placed a security hold on the investigation to limit the public release of "related notes, documents, files or images" pertaining to the active case.

The Medical Examiner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the consequence of murder, with a public database noting the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Aftermath and Reactions

After the deaths, public personalities shared divergent comments.

Ex-President Donald Trump posted on the matter, offering divisive remarks that were widely condemned by several commentators.

Podcaster Joe Rogan lent his criticism to the detractors recently. Conversing on his podcast, Rogan described the remarks as "shocking" and remarked they demonstrated a troubling absence of compassion.

Rogan finished by proposing that an associate should have stepped in when the decision to weigh in on the passing was made.
